Accomodations at Miðfjarðará and Litla-Kverká

When the hunting rights were leased in 2009 by the Landowners' Fishing Union, there were no accomodations close to the river. The only lodge near was owned by the former leasees. Soon it was clear that it would be necessary to provide accomodations for anglers. The Union's Board of Directors soon started looking for a house and, in cooperation with the new leasee, soon found a suitable house. The Union bought the house and had it transported on site. The house provides very suitable accomodations. It sleeps up to 10 people and has all the necessary facilites for anglers. Below are pictures of the facilities.
